Hello and thank you for popping in.

Firstly may I introduce myself. I am Di Stilgoe and along with my husband Paul we own the TEISGOL pointers.

I have always owned dogs - from my mums long haired Dachshunds to the farm Border Collies, but my husband wasn’t allowed a dog. So when we married in 1982, my husband had his first dog BENJY, a Wolfhound x Labrador, closely followed by the dog he had always wanted, a Border Collie.

Along came our children Mark and Sarah who both showed an interest in dogs and we started to do agility and obedience and I trained up and became an obedience teacher. Both of our children had their own dogs and it was my daughters dog ( Pebbles) a Border Collie x Pointer cross that was the beginning of us getting into Pointers.

We started to show the Border Collies. At Open Shows our daughter kept disappearing to the Pointer ring so eventually we bought her a Pointer for her to show which came from the HURWYN kennel. His name is HURWYN HANNIBAL HAYES AT TEISGOL. We became smitten with this fabulous breed to say the least and a year later we bought a bitch from Liz Flint, CASILEX BLACK VELVET AT TEISGOL, (litter sister to Bucks Fizz). We now own several pointers and 2 crossbreeds.
